The University of Malta Academic Staff Association wholly condemns the ongoing attacks on a member of academic staff being circulated and promoted on social media. Debates or disagreements on politics or current affairs should not degenerate into malicious and dishonest personal attacks aiming to damage the professional reputation of academic staff.

 

We fully stand by the professionalism of our colleague and the high level of educational and academic output of our university. 

 

UMASA expresses its solidarity and support to any member of staff whose academic professionalism is targeted for political or other motives.
