Dear members,

 

as we did last year, in view of the ongoing disruption to conferences by the COVID pandemic, UMASA has requested, that the AWRF 'rolled over' amount limitation (i.e. the value of one year’s allocation) is waived. That is for this year the limitation that 'Academic staff may roll over their allocation from year to year provided that the monies being rolled over do not exceed the value of their annual allocation’ does not apply. This means all unused funds in our AWRF accounts will be retained together with the full allocation for the next academic year. We are pleased to say that University management has accepted our request on your behalf.
