Earlier this afternoon, UMASA declared an Industrial dispute with UM. This was done because despite UMASA having presented our financial demands over a year ago, and having repeatedly asked for UM’s offer, we still have no reply with regard to the financial package. If a reasonable offer is not received by Monday at noon we will be issuing directives to academics.
